Jorge & Molly's Proposal at Minster Mill

When Jorge reached out to The Cotswold Proposal Planners, he already had a very clear vision for his proposal to Molly! He was familiar with Minster Mill and had decided the pergola there would be the perfect setting - he just needed our help with coordinating the day, sourcing suppliers and setting up the decor.

Jorge sent his proposal planner, Beth, several inspiration photos of pergolas adorned with luscious, fresh flower displays. To recreate these, Beth enlisted the help of our in house florist, Debbie. Jorge had requested that the displays contain lots of greenery and white flowers but was otherwise happy for Debbie to have creative freedom! We think the inclusion of some light pink and blue flowers was a brilliant move on Debbie's part - the final result couldn't have been more beautiful!

After popping the question at the pergola, Jorge wanted a private spot where he and his new fiancee could enjoy some champagne - the Willow room was perfect for this! We created an elegant tablescape incorporating some of Debbie's leftover stems and decorated the rest of the space with some faux flowers and LED candles.

The brilliant Ozzy James, who won Photographer of the Year in The 2023 Proposal Awards, captured the entire day wonderfully. We love to look back on this sunny, September afternoon!
